school year 2010-2011 officially ends today

WOW!!!! a year had passed...it's been a roller coaster ride. Time flies soooo fast,Nicole was just in preschool few years back then she entered primary school. Then with a blink of an eye she just finished first grade...i'm getting old...hahaha. It's not easy studying in a chinese school, i've heard a lot of stories about how strict chinese schools are in the Philippines...how much more when you are actually studying in China or Taiwan.? soooooo strict...grrrrr.


When Nicole was just about to enter first grade, it brought a lot of memories when i was at her age entering first grade too. I missed going to national book store with my mom to grab school supplies like notebooks, papers,pencils and lots of other stuffs. Here in Taiwan, it's different though, yes we still buy some school supplies, bags, lunch box and some of the things i've mentioned previously but notebooks, books and other small stuffs are provided by the governmnet.Actually, i didn't noticed that they used a notebook, it's more of like a work book all in one...ahahhh..confusing.

I missed wearing nameplate too...here, they used patch attached to your uniform with a corresponding grade, section and school number written on it.

Buxiban or cram school is very popular now in taiwan.Parents would enroll their children in different tutorial classes be it academic or extra curricular activities.A lot of parents would enroll their children in english class too.Lucky Nicole, we don't have to spend money for that coz mom and dad can help her in that field.I also don't like the idea of forcing my child to attend to those classes in order for her to make better grades. I saw a lot of our neighbors children going home wasted because their parents enrolled them to almost all the classes available in order to adjust for their work schedule. I guess there is nothing wrong with that, its their life anyway, their lifestyle.

School bus is not popular in taiwan except in some private preschools so everyday we have to bring and pick-up nicole from school.

I am happy that this first year went on smoothly and im hoping that my nicole would enjoy this new stage of her life.

buffet hot pot

I've mentioned in my previous post that hubby is addicted to this italian resto, but thank God the other night he requested that we try hot pot instead....thank you, thank you, thank you...finally a break. I missed hot pot though,my only concern that time was it's dinner time and definitely we have to wait for a seat again..hayyyy. Luckily, when we arrived few seats were unoccupied.

not in the mood

My second daughter chih-lin is a camera shy (the opposite actually...Hahahaha)but the other day was different.I was thinking that maybe she is not in the mood for laughs because no matter how many times i called her to look at the cam....nothing..no reaction.But after a few minutes of me watching her, i realized something....its not a bad mood..she is actually having her MOMENT.

My eldest Pin-hua had a lot of art works, she's addicted to it actually and mommy is very happy that at a younger age she has this passion. I was browsing my phone when i saw this pictures...hehehehe

Allergy

No matter how many children you have you can never be an expert mom, maybe in some ways, but still there are always new things to learn for each and every child is different.What you did or learned from your first baby might actually work out for the rest of your babies or will be the opposite.


Few days ago I tried to give my youngest(Sydney) cereal for breakfast. I did gave this to my first two daughters at about the same age.I'm happy that Sydney likes cereal, she ate a lot actually.Then at around 8pm I noticed something reddish in her face, I ignored it thinking that it was only a rash as she is used to having but it usually disappear after awhile. Few hours more I saw that her face has more reddish spots.I immediately checked her body as I was thinking she is having an allergy, although not all allergy covers the whole body, at times it is centered in a particular part of the body.In my daughters case it's her face. I can't think of any other reason for it except the CEREAL!!!


We were thinking of bringing her to the hospital but we opted not to go, instead, we gave her a medicine for allergy. We always have a stock of this at home, it was prescribed by my eldest daughters doctor the last time she had an allergy. Though we gave Sydney the medicine for allergy I still packed and prepared our things just in case we need to go to the hospital.Luckily, after her first intake of the medicine the rashes starts to disappear a bit.
We continued on giving her the medicine, this time her face becomes more clear as the rashes disappear.Thank God!!! the medicine works and my baby is sooo much better now.Cereal will definitely be not given to her anymore.... Hayyyyy..

I love this picture of pin-hua, this was actually at the night market. After walking and eating again and buying some cutie stuffs she found this.She asked me to give her a few NTs, and i gave her ten only....pity cutie pin-hua...hehehe. Luckily, she won...hahahaha.

good evening - wanan - 晚安

soo tired...

My two babies are having changes in their sleeping habits again.I was able to put them to bed at around 9pm and i was glad that i could do other things while they are dreaming...hehehe. I was expecting that maybe they would wake early morning na like 6am,but no, they both woke up around 4am...waaaahhh.Im trying to do my best to put them back to bed but it didn't work. It was around 7am already that i gave up and decided to just bring them in the living room and made them watch tv while im busy with my eldest who have to be in school by 8am.Lucky me, hubby is at home and i have extra hands.After bringing pin-hua to school,me and hubby ate our breakfast and go to bed again. Another problem,i'm having difficulty going back to sleep so the last option is to take sleeping pills. After taking the pill im fast asleep, woke up around 10pm and fully recharged again.Thanks to my hubby for taking care of the kids.I just hope that it wont be like this every night or i'll end up looking like a zoombie...hahaha

Cafe Grazie again

It's been a very busy day, as always...hehehe. We're very lazy and tired to cook so we opted to eat dinner outside. Lately my husband is sooo adik na with this resto, masarap daw eh, o sya pagbigyan na nga. Kahit minsan mas gusto ko sa house na lng kumain no choice din lalo na pag toxic,why sa house? main reason is hassle masyado pag lumalabas ng dala namin ang buong baryo...hahaaha.Imagine tatlo kids yan, dapat may dala na things nung dalawa babies. Yung idea na mag load and unload ng things sa car like the strollers...waaahhhhh...nakakpagod kaya noh.Pero natuloy pa din kami, khit ano pa reklamo ko...hehehe.
